I started using Trello at work to manage my team and liked it, but then my my VP Dev told me we can't store any company information offsite because of regulations (we're working with the finance industry). Trello is not hostable locally, so I'm out of options.
If I'm going to try and work around this, I need to at least know that all the data is encrypted somehow on the Fogbugz servers, or wherever they use for storage.
Does anybody have any information on that?
You can find information on recently release bug fixes and features on the Trello development board. We leave things in the "Implemented" column for a while after they go live.
You can give the coloured labels meaningful names, which I've found really helps.
It's not entirely obvious how to do this, at first:
Now, when you click on a card, and then "Labels...", the name you specified is displayed on top of the Colour swatch.
This at least saves people from having to remember the meaning you've ascribed to the different colours.
You still only get 6 colours to play with, though, and I don't believe that you can change the colours themselves.

I've just noticed that there's now a shorter route to renaming labels: At the bottom of the list of labels, there is now a link to "Edit labels (sic) titles":

We may offer enterprise-grade security for payment in the future. That will come with documentation, representations, etc. In any case, Trello will remain a software-as-a-service offering. If your company or government regulations prevent you from having data outside your network or servers, unfortunately, you won't be able to use Trello.
