I have started using Trello.com for task management, but I really want to be able to customize the colors on different boards.
Is there any way to do this? Is it a possibility now or a possible future enhancement?

They appear to be ordered alphabetically order by orgname (the shorthand name used in URLs, not the full name, e.g. "fogcreek", not "Fog Creek Software"). You can change the orgnames so that they match the order that you want. For example, you can make them 1_org1, 2_org9, 3_org2, etc. Note that the display names don't have to match the org name, so they don't have to have change.
To make this change, go to your Boards page. Click on "Profile" next to the organization you want to change. If you are an admin of the org, you'll see a "Change Name and Details" button that will let you change the orgname and other details.
Currently, you can only view open boards, so you'd need to re-open the archived board first.
Once you've re-opened the board, you should be able to
- Click "Options"
- Click "Archived Items"

I don't believe that this is possible, with functionality currently built in to Trello.
However, the Trello Development Board (on Trello, of course), is useful to see what features are being talked about, and to vote for your favourite features.
