I write something on a card in the Activity window and press "Comment". It then posts on the card. Later I would like to have other people comment on the post, or edit it myself or comment on it myself.

The option "Posting Preferences" no longer exists
The chosen solution does not resolve the issue of posting as yourself on your page, but outlines how to switch your account to act on behalf of your page on Facebook.
You can post as yourself to a page you admin by selecting Edit Page in the upper right-hand corner of the page -> Your Settings on the top of the left-hand sidebar. From there you can either check or un-check the box for posting preferences.
Facebook may change things again, but this is the solution as of 15 Nov 2011.

Use Google Plus SEARCH in a special way and you can find your comments (and other people's shares of your stuff, etc.)
Use this technique to find your comments...
Enter a Google Plus search like this:
"Ronnie Bincer" -inurl:108210288375340023376
Where the name in quotes is Your Google Plus name and the number after the '-inurl:' text is Your Profile ID.
You can find your profile ID number by going to your 'Profile' area and snagging it from within the URL up top.

Currently you can delete a comment (and re-add a new one), but you cannot edit a comment, or comment on a comment.
