I know that adding <meta property="og:image" content="<URL-HERE>" /> to an HTML page makes it generate a thumbnail image when sharing the URL on Facebook:

Your problem can be handled by using "#" for data-url.

ex:

  data-url="#"

 data-related="anywhere:The Javascript API"

  data-count="vertical">Tweet</a>

Facebook – Blank page at http://apps.facebook.com/twitter/

You have to delete/uninstall the application, remove the permissions and try again.

I wish I could tell you the exact problem with the application but I have not figured it out. Facebook and Twitter do not share information well so there are bugs that have not been fixed over the past few months.
