When I type in "do you want to go?" into Google Translate it gives me in French:
voulez-vous aller?
and in German it gives me
willst du gehen?
Is there a way to change the settings so that it always gives both the personal and polite form version for all languages which have this characteristic?
As far as I know, this cannot be done. According to Wikipedia, when you translate language A to language B, Google's procedure generally is:
Translate language A to English. (This is redundant if A is English, but technically still true.)
Translate English to language B. (Same note as above.)
(I cannot find documentation for this on Google itself, but this is also noted in a paper on machine translation by Boitet et al.) This explains why the T/V distinction is often omitted, even when language B also observes it, since there is none in modern English.
There are also some cases where the translation is first to a third language (so language A to language C, which is preset, to English to language B). The third language and the original may be close enough that there is a preservation of T/V distinctions (going from A to C), but one might still expect the omission of the T/V distinction to come up once English or language B is added.
I doubt you can actually get exactly the old interface, Google may already remove the code altogether. However you can get something close by disabling JavaScript for the page, you can easily double-click the translated text to select it, as shown in the image below:
Alternatively, even without disabling JavaScript you can do the selection with just an additional double click. Once you double click on the translated text and given chance to edit, you can instead select the text and ignore the editing form.

Using "thou" sometimes helps, and so does "you all", but there is no foolproof way to get the correct form.
Google translate is based on statistical inference (not structural parsing / substitution), so the vous/tu usage is inconsistent.
I can only speculate "pretty" is more intimate than "nice" and more often encountered with "tu" forms in parallel translations Google's algorithms were trained on.
