Youtube – How to add links inside a YouTube video

You can just hover over the video and an icon like this...

The top one, the clock, will add it to your "watch later" list

and the one beneath it with the three lines and arrow adds the video to your queue

You can do this directly from the feed while looking at YouTube videos when you hover over the video. This works int he new YouTube layout so if you are still using the old YouTube layout I'm not sure how that would work.

There is also three dots usually next to a video anywhere on YouTube and when you press it this pops up...

(Add to queue, Save to Watch later, Save to playlist, and Report)

You can press any of the three and it will add the video to a playlist

From what I've learnt finally, there's no way to do it. But that's really unfortunate.

EDIT: Although not what I really hoped for, VLC media player actually allows you to view YouTube videos in their original resolution.

1. Open VLC

2. Go to Media (menu) → Open Network Stream... → paste the YouTube video URL in field under the label Please enter a network URL: and hit Play.

3. When the video has loaded, play the video, right-click on the video, under Video (menu item) → select Fullscreen option; then right-click again, and under the same menu item (i.e. Video) deselect Always Fit Window option.

4. The video should now be playing in its original resolution.
