I am struggling to find a way to upload/publish video from the new Google Drive to (Google's) YouTube. I am trying to avoid downloading the file to my local disk and uploading it again—it's already on Google's servers!
There used to be a workaround where you send the video as an attachment to the "mobile upload" email address but the new Drive interface does not offer the option to send a video as attachment any more (at least I did not find it).
How can I do this?

In the example above the URL https://aka.ms/SQLtoAzure/MobPDF points to a PDF file. Any URL with a .PDF extension would work too. After that file is opened within the browser, click the "Save to Drive" icon (as shown in the screenshot) in the header of Google Docs Viewer to save it to your Google Drive.
Similarly the Office Apps Online Viewer can be used to save any Office document hosted on the web to OneDrive.
I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but the recipient can download the document as docx without a Google account by opening the document and doing the steps shown in this image:
For this to work the document has to a 'shared to anyone with the link'. When testing this out, gmail automatically reminded me to do this when attaching the Drive document.
