I was trying to watch some video in YouTube today. I am not able to listen to what they are speaking. But whenever some music come up I am able to hear it. Why is this?
(I am using Firefox if it’s relevant.)

According to the FAQ, when YouTube detects an infringing video there are three options for the copyright holder:
There are three usage policies—Block, Track or Monetise. If a rights owner specifies a Block policy, the video will not be viewable. If the rights owner specifies a Track policy, the video will continue to be made available on YouTube and the rights owner will receive information about the video, such as how many views it receives. For a Monetise policy, the video will continue to be available on YouTube and ads will appear in conjunction with the video.
If the copyright holder has chosen 'Block', then your only option is to contact whoever made the music (or the label that owns it) and ask them to use it. Maybe Wikipedia can help you find who that is.
Gangnam may have the "monetize" option selected, which would make sense since YouTube has estimated to have paid $1.7 million in revenue for it so far.

You can install CSS styling from lots of other users who have submitted the styling or you can just make your own.
To remove video content. You just need to use selector tool to select video element and mark height = 0.
Good thing with this extension that you can use it to style any website to remove distractions. Whenever you want to remove styling you can reset it.

Does it only happen on YouTube? Does it only happen on one video?
I would check if the headphone/speaker jack is plugged in all the way and if that doesn't help, I'd try another set of headphones to see if it happens again.
Once, my headphones broke so that I couldn't hear any sound that was common on the left and right channel, only the differences. This made stereo music sound very weird… no vocals… just instruments and I couldn't listen to anything mono.
