Is it possible to get a list of the spreadsheets that are importing data from my sheet?
I maintain a spreadsheet that has raw data, and many other spreadsheets use IMPORTRANGE to import that data.
I need to update the structure of the original sheet, and would like a list of all the spreadsheets that depend upon it. Is there a way to find this out?
My experiments on this would suggest that there is a max limit on the number of items that you can import using importrange() which id not linked to the total number of cells in your Google Sheet.
This figure seems to be around 175,000 cells. I'm not sure if this is the offical max, but that's the most I have been able to import without getting a 'too large' error.
You can, but it involves tricking My Maps. What you essentially have to do is load the extra spaces you might need later.
In your original spreadsheet, at the bottom of your table, put a space inside each cell across the width of the table.
Select and copy that new "empty" (wink wink) row, and past as many rows as you think you'll need in the future.
Save your spreadsheet.
Import to my maps.
Now when you open the data table all those cells you put spaces in are available for you to edit.
And obviously, you won't have a bunch of blank dots show up, because Google doesn't know where to put them

There is no built-in feature that list the spreadsheets that use IMPORTRANGE to import data from a specific spreadsheet.
Considering that IMPORTRANGE to your spreadsheet could be added to any spreadsheet that any editor, viewer and commenter of your spreadsheet have access even if you don't have access to them, I think that there is no way to have a complete list other than asking those users to give you that information even manually or by running a script.
