In Altium Designer, I am trying to place a input port to the right of a symbol like in the picture. But I want to rotate the port 180 degrees so the pointy part points left instead of right. Whenever I press X or space it always points right or down (in case I press space). How can I make the port point left?

When you design your schematic component, assign Designators to the pins, e.g. A + B or 1 + 2, .... In your PCB Library item (the one that is linked to your schematic symbol) use the Place -> Pad, select "Multi-Layer" as Layer, enter a hole size (.7mm) and a pad size (e.g 1.5x1.5mm) and you're done, name the two pads A + B (same name as in the schematic).
Now when you transfer your schematic design to your PCB, Altium will assign the appropriate nets to your pads.
Just drag the output label over. It doesn't need to be touching the net at the label origin.
Note: To remove those little origin markers, use the set Option.ShowTextOrigins 0; command. Also note that this does not disconnect the label from the net, they are still associated (renaming the net will change the label). This simply moves the origin to not be on top of the net, so the two must be selected with the selection tool before being moved.

Move the port to right side. Altium will change the port direction automatically. Wire will be disconnected. Then drag the wire and connect to the port.
